Club Hawk (After School Care)

Participants age 7-22 who are currently enrolled at an in-district school are eligible. You must have an Annual Information Form on file in CommunityPass for the current year.

If you’re new to After School Care, please complete the After School Care Interest Form found on the bottom of this page.

Complete the After School Care Interest Form found on the bottom of this page. If you are also brand new to LWSRA (before 2021), please complete a new participant intake after completing the interest form. 

After completing your After School Care Interest Form and being approved to register, you will be able to log-in to CommunityPass and sign-up for the days you need.

You have until 11pm Tuesday of the week prior to sign-up for the next week’s days.

You may pay online via credit card or e-check. Cash/check registrations must be completed in-person at the LWSRC.

If you wish to pay one week at a time, just register by the Tuesday deadline for days next week. You may also pay in advance for additional future weeks by signing up for the days you plan to attend.

Your payment method will be charged in full for all the days added to your cart when registering.

Transportation for your child needs to be set up through your child’s school district. Contact your transportation company to change the drop off location to: LWSRC, 1900 Heather Glen Dr., New Lenox, IL 60451. LWSRA does not provide transportation services.

*Some school districts have different policies on drop-off locations and schedule variations. Most require a consistent drop-off location. On days not attending after school care, parents may pick-up at school or directly from the bus when it arrives at the LWSRC.

A late fee my be assessed if registering after the deadline. If it is after the deadline, you may add yourself to the waitlist through Friday for the next week. We will work to ensure we have proper space and staffing before we are able to add them to the roster for that day.

Each time a participant is picked up after 6:00pm, a $1 fee will be charged per minute to cover staff costs. Payment is due to LWSRA within one week of notification.

Attendance at future programs will not be allowed until all outstanding fees are paid.

*After multiple late pick-ups, suspension of future programs may occur.

For individuals using the LWSRC as a drop off point, on days an individual is not registered but LWSRA staff accepts them off the bus, there will be a $15 fee. An additional $1 fee will be assessed per minute that the individual is under LWSRA supervision.

Parents should plan to pick their child up at school or arrive at the LWSRC prior to the bus’ arrrival.
