Keith joined the LWSRA team in 2006 as the Superintendent of Recreation. In 2013 he took over as the Executive Director. In addition to his executive director role, Keith actively helps at many other LWSRA programs including coaching adapted sports teams, DJ for dances and refereeing. He has also served as the Head Coach of Team USA Wheelchair Softball. He graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Leisure Studies with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. His previous experience in the field includes time working at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and the Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association.
He heads his own not-for-profit organization, the Midwest Wheelchair Sport and Social Club, and was inducted into the National Wheelchair Softball Hall of Fame in 2018. Keith lives with his wife, Marquita, in Frankfort Square along with their three children.
