My husband Bob and I have been a resident of Mokena since 1996. We have been married for 28 years and between the two of us we have 8 children and 11 grandchildren.
Our youngest daughter Lexi was born with Down Syndrome. We were introduced to Lincolnway Special Recreation Association from our daughter Brittany who worked various programs with LWSRA. Lexi’s favorite program is Drama Club and enjoys playing softball and basketball. She loves the staff and has made great friendships with her peers.
I was invited to be a member of the board 9 years ago. This has been a wonderful experience for me to help raise money for an organization that brings so much joy to my daughter.
