I live in Frankfort and have been a resident for approximately 30 years. I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Health Management Systems and worked in healthcare for over 20 years. I then went on to substitute teach for a few years while I pursued an interest in starting a business of my own. For 15 years I owned a store in Frankfort called The Paper Spot where I had the pleasure of working with many other small business owners and members of our community in the downtown Historic District.
My husband and I have three daughters and four grandchildren. Our middle daughter has special needs and has been with Lincolnway Special Recreation programming for 20+ years. She has participated in many of their sport and social programs and currently attends the adult day program, Titans.
I am honored to be a member of this board as I believe strongly in their mission of generating support for programs that both enrich and enhance recreational opportunities and social experiences for LWSRA participants.
