Family Day Picnic with SSSRA

LWSRA & SSSRA are teaming up for a Family Picnic to say thank you for your continued support of both of our agencies. Meet your neighboring SRA friends, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Lunch provided by Wiley’s Grill of Flossmoor (hotdogs, hamburgers, baked beans, chips, and dessert). Play bocce ball, corn hole, water balloon toss and more! Staff supervision is not provided. Family Campout on the Farm

Navarro Farm 22155 S 104th Ave, Frankfort, IL, United States

Family Campout on the Farm, geared towards individuals with disabilities and their families, will feature a host of activities to celebrate Fall and the outdoors. Starting Friday, September 5th at 5pm, we'll set up camp at beautiful Navarro Farm. Families supply their own camping tents/RV's and dinner. Other activities included with your registration: Campfire Smores/Hot Chocolate Storytelling Reptile Show Craft Movie Under the Stars Farm Adventure Light Breakfast Event will conclude Saturday morning on October 1st. All guests are asked to depart Navarro Farm by 9am. COST: $40 per family of 4 (additional attendees $10/each)

Trunk or Treat

Put on your costume and trick or treat from car to car. Outdoor trick or treating is FREE! Extra indoor activities are available for $5 per user. Event moves inside if inclement weather. Day with the Grinch time slots on Saturday, December 10th: Activities include pizza, picture with the Grinch, crafts, arm painting, hair dressing, and much more! Purchase tickets for the whole family at one of the following timeslots: 10:30-11:45am  12:15-1:30pm 2-3:15pm 3:45-5pm A maximum of 200 tickets will be sold per timeslot to encourage a more inclusive setting for families of individuals with disabilities. ‘Tis the season to spend with the LWSRA family. Dine-in the LWSRC, tour the holiday lights of Heather Glen and enjoy a variety of crafts, activities and games with Santa’s elves. Take photos with the big man himself. All LWSRA participants and each of their siblings under the age of 12 will receive a holiday gift. All Ages Staff supervision is not provided.
