  • Grand Opening – Leigh Creek South Park

    Join us for the Grand Opening of our newest park, Leigh Creek South Park. Attendees must register at the link below. The park is located in Heatherglen Subdivision off of Heatherglen Drive, adjacent to Lincolnway Special Recreation Association. The park features an all-inclusive playground, adaptive softball field, basketball court, turf court games, two shelters and walking paths. Lunch will be provided at this event. Registration deadline is Thursday, July 8. Attendees must register with the New Lenox Community Park District: https://www.newlenoxparks.org/events/leigh-creek-south-park-grand-opening  

  • LWSR Foundation 13th Annual Golf Outing

    The Sanctuary Golf Course 485 N Marley Rd, New Lenox, IL, United States

    The 13th Annual Lincolnway Special Recreation Foundation Golf Outing returns on Friday, August 13th! Sponsorship opportunities are available. Golfer spots are sold out for the August 13th outing, however spaces are still available for the Friday, August 20th outing on the Links at Carillon. Sponsorship opportunities are available for both outings starting at just $75. As a special, sponsor one outing and you will receive a code to continue your sponsorship for the other outing at half price! (*excludes complimentary foursomes). Shotgun Start: 11:00am 18 holes of golf, contests on the course, hot dog lunch to-go at the turn and complimentary beverage carts included. Dinner: 4:30pm Pork chop dinner (outdoor seating), contest hole and raffle prize winners announced. Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the event with prizes to be raffled following dinner.

    The 1Lincolnway Special Recreation Foundation is excited to announce its second golf outing in 2021, LWSRF On the Links. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Sponsorship opportunities are available for both outings starting at just $75. As a special, sponsor one outing and you will receive a code to continue your sponsorship for the other outing at half price! (*excludes complimentary foursomes). Follow the booklet and complete the scavenger hunt to find the pot of gold. (Instructions and all items provided.
