LWSRF 14th Annual Golf Outing
The Sanctuary Golf Course 485 N Marley Rd, New Lenox, IL, United StatesThe LWSRF will host its 14th Annual Golf Outing at The Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox on Friday, August 12, 2022. Proceeds from the event benefit LWSRA, which provides recreational programs for individuals with disabilities as an extension of seven member park districts. SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE! Marley Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 Check-in: 9:30am Coffee, donuts and complimentary driving range and putting green available until shotgun start. Shotgun Start: 11:00am 18 holes of golf, contests on the course, hot dog lunch to-go at the turn and complimentary beverage carts included. Dinner: 4:30pm Pork chop dinner (outdoor seating), contest hole and raffle prize winners announced. Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the event with prizes to be raffled following dinner. Meet your neighboring SRA friends, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Lunch provided by Wiley’s Grill of Flossmoor (hotdogs, hamburgers, baked beans, chips, and dessert). Play bocce ball, corn hole, water balloon toss and more! Staff supervision is not provided. Family Campout on the Farm
Navarro Farm 22155 S 104th Ave, Frankfort, IL, United StatesFamily Campout on the Farm, geared towards individuals with disabilities and their families, will feature a host of activities to celebrate Fall and the outdoors. Starting Friday, September 5th at 5pm, we'll set up camp at beautiful Navarro Farm. Families supply their own camping tents/RV's and dinner. Other activities included with your registration: Campfire Smores/Hot Chocolate Storytelling Reptile Show Craft Movie Under the Stars Farm Adventure Light Breakfast Event will conclude Saturday morning on October 1st. All guests are asked to depart Navarro Farm by 9am. COST: $40 per family of 4 (additional attendees $10/each)
