Grand Opening – Leigh Creek South Park
LWSRC 1900 Heather Glen Dr, New Lenox, IL, United StatesJoin us for the Grand Opening of our newest park, Leigh Creek South Park. Attendees must register at the link below. The park is located in Heatherglen Subdivision off of Heatherglen Drive, adjacent to Lincolnway Special Recreation Association. The park features an all-inclusive playground, adaptive softball field, basketball court, turf court games, two shelters and walking paths. Lunch will be provided at this event. Fall 2021 Registration Begins
The Fall 2021 Brochure will be available online the first week of August. Online registration opens at 9am on Saturday, August 7th. If you need assistance registering online, please contact us using the form below or call 815.320.3500 (9am-12pm on August 7th). The office will be open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to assist with other registration questions or needs.
LWSR Foundation 13th Annual Golf Outing
The Sanctuary Golf Course 485 N Marley Rd, New Lenox, IL, United StatesThe 13th Annual Lincolnway Special Recreation Foundation Golf Outing returns on Friday, August 13th! Sponsorship opportunities are available. Golfer spots are sold out for the August 13th outing, however spaces are still available for the Friday, August 20th outing on the Links at Carillon. Sponsorship opportunities are available for both outings starting at just $75. As a special, sponsor one outing and you will receive a code to continue your sponsorship for the other outing at half price! (*excludes complimentary foursomes). Click here to register or Sponsor the 13th Annual Golf Outing. Check-in: 9:30am Coffee, donuts and complimentary driving range and putting green available until shotgun start. Shotgun Start: 11:00am 18 holes of golf, contests on the course, hot dog lunch to-go at the turn and complimentary beverage carts included. Dinner: 4:30pm Pork chop dinner (outdoor seating), contest hole and raffle prize winners announced. Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the event with prizes to be raffled following dinner.
