Tami joined the LWSRA team in 2009 as the Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator before taking over as the Recreation Specialist overseeing Special Olympics programs in 2012. She took over as the Manager of Athletics in 2018 until accepting her current role as the Manager of Recreation in 2020. She attended Eastern Illinois University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Administration with a minor in Business Administration.
Tami has over 30 years experience in the field of recreation with more than 25 of them dedicated to therapeutic recreation. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at her family’s lake house in Wisconsin. She’s also an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan!
