Nadine joined the LWSRA team in 2012 as a program aide before also adding on program leader responsibilities. After coordinating summer camp for two summers, she took over the role of Recreation Specialist overseeing summer camps, youth programs and special events. In 2021 she began overseeing Marketing and Public Relations, which grew in 2023 to her current role of Development Supervisor. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She received her teaching certification at Governors State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in special education and ESL at St. Xavier University.
Nadine is currently a full time high school science teacher at Downers Grove South High School. Her love of music led her to create LWSRA’s Drama Kings & Queens program. She also teaches piano for individuals with disabilities and enjoys spending time with her cats, Leo & Thelma.
